Q. What is the difference between cleaning and disinfecting?

A.  Cleaning is the removal of soil and Disinfecting is the elimination of harmful pathogens after cleaning has been completed.

Q.  How is the OASIS process different from regular household disinfecting sprays?

A.  Standard household disinfectants are applied by aerosol cans or spray bottles and will not penetrate the pathogens biofilm to kill it. The OASIS treatment is applied with an electrostatic sprayer to disrupt the biofilm layer to allow the disinfecting solution to penetrate the crust and kill the harmful pathogens.  Think of a small static shock creating an opening in the film or a pin popping a balloon.

Q.  Isn't cleaning enough to keep us safe and healthy?

A.  No, traditional spray and wipe cleaning methods typically cross contaminate the surface resulting in an increased risk of illness.  The OASIS process does not disturb the surface and elimates the potential for cross contamination.  The OASIS process does not involve any wiping post treatment.

Q.  Is the OASIS process really better than aerosol disinfectants that I can buy at the store?

A.  Yes, for proper disinfecting and pathogen elimination, the solution must stay in contact with the surface for up to 10 minutes to completely eliminate the bacteria or virus.  With the OASIS process, there is no wiping so the solution stays in contact with the surface and actively kills for 24 hours before forming the residual protection layer.

Q.  Is the OASIS process safe for adults, children, pets and plants?

A.  Yes, the process is non-toxic to humans, pets and plants.  

Q.  Does OASIS also provide cleaning services?

A.  No, we specialize in providing disinfecting services only.  Cleaning and Disinfecting are two completely different steps and cannot be completed at the same time.

Q.  Can I keep my current cleaning service and add OASIS services?

A.  Yes, we work independently from cleaning companies and will invoice the business directly.  This arrangement allows OASIS to keep our treatments affordable.  

Q.  How long does the Preventative Treatment last?

A.  We offer two different options:

• Standard 30-day treatment is a single step process that actively kills for 24 hours then provides a residual protection up to 30-days.
• Our premium 90-day treatment is a two step process that actively kills for 24 hours then provides a residual protection up to 90-days.  The premium treatments can be bill in equal monthly statements to be budget friendly.

Q.  Does OASIS offer any discounts for contracted services?

A.  Yes, we offer discounts for both 6-month and 12-month agreements.
